I also bought this headset from Big Lots for $5 & I have to say they are definately worth it.
I bought them on a whim really expecting to give them away to a friend cause I figured I wouldn't like them. To my suprise, I'm enjoying them. Perfect for voice & decent for audio. I don't know how long they'll last but they seem to be sturdy enough.
I have them connected to my sound card. I may need to get a usb adapter as I want the headset just for voice with my audio coming through my SSound set up.

Despite what the write-up may suggest these headphones do not work with Xbox 360. There is no adaptor for the Xbox controller - but you can only find that out after you've opened the package. The packaging even shows an Xbox controller!

These are great headphones. Earpieces are large and comfortable. Adjustable mic and headset. Sound is clear and without distortion. Music sound is good, although lacks in the rich bass tone. I previously purchased the Logitech G330 for $39 and took them back after buying the Sentry. They pinched my ears and were hot to wear after 30 minutes. The Sentry is a far better value. The price is cheap (paid $5 at Big Lots), but the quality does not feel cheap.
